Overall record: 17-16-2
Won
2 games... but lost 3 of em... again. We missed out on a couple of games big time. It was kinda ridiculous. We did hit Colorado St's cover and Miss St straight up over Auburn. It's about time for us to hit another big weekend. Here's what went down.
1. Colorado St (-2.5) @ Nevada | WINNER (Colo St 31 - Nevada 24)
Saturday 9:30pm CT | CBSSN
Colorado St is awesome this year. That's all that needs to be said.
2. Penn St (+1.5) @ Michigan | LOSER (Michigan 18 - Penn St 13)
Saturday 6:00pm CT | ESPN2
Michigan needed this one... and they covered. Surprised that they were able to do this, but Penn St's offense is terrible. Michigan took advantage of miscues and Penn St was not able to recover.
3. Auburn @ Miss St (+3) | WINNER (Miss St 38 - Auburn 23)
Saturday 2:30pm CT | CBS
Biggest game in Mississippi St history, and they started out on fire with a 21-0 lead in the first quarter. Auburn drew it close, but State closed it out, and it led them to the first #1 ranking in school history.
4. Ole Miss @ Texas A&M (-2.5) | LOSER (Ole Miss 35 - Texas A&M 20)
Saturday 8pm CT | ESPN
Ole Miss's defense is for real. I really thought they'd be in for a real wake-up call after such an emotion week... but Texas A&M is a lot worse than I thought they were. Or, they were just really beat up from having to play Arkansas and Mississippi St two weeks in a row. Their offense has looked really shaky in the last 3 games.
5. Houston @ Memphis (-7.5) | LOSER (Houston 28 - Memphis 24)
Saturday 6:00pm CT | CBSSN
Memphis threw this one away. 4 turnovers and Houston capitalized on the mistakes. Not only did Memphis not cover - they didn't even win the game. It'll be time for a bounce back for this team in a couple of weeks.
